27th April...my birthday. This year I turned 24, only 12 months until I am officially in my mid-twenties and will hit a quarter of a century. With Lucas being born and lots of family in town I kept forgetting my birthday was coming up and we didn't really plan anything, but it was still a great day!
Just like last year we went to the mall for me to pick out my present...I got this cute ring! Not super expensive, but definitely not from Icing haha.
We ate lunch at 5 Guy's and then decided we would risk taking Lucas to see a movie. We had been dying to see The King's Speech and when they re-released it as PG-13 we were excited. Until about 15 minutes into the movie we were the only ones in the theatre and then one other person joined us. This was nice because we didn't have to worry about Lucas waking up, not that we had to worry, he slept through the WHOLE thing!
We loved the movie and I must say Colin Firth has always been a favorite of mine and he is still hot for an older guy! Shhsh don't tell Brett!
Thursday night we went to Texas Roadhouse (another thing we had been anxious to do) with the usual gang. As pictured below Gavin ate a lot and was feeling it! Once again Lucas just slept, he likes loud places.
And of course we went back to our place to play the classic Bonanza. We never get bored, the winning spot it generally between me and Gavin and Jordan always loses! Lucas was as cute as ever and just hung out and played!
I had a great birthday with my gorgeous boys and great friends! Here's to another wonderful 12 months before I have my mid-twenties life crises!
