2012 Catch Up!

Wow it has been a while since I blogged, the end of 2012 was insanely busy for us. From job interviews, work, school, Thanksgiving, England and Switzerland we feel like we haven't sat still in months. Here is a little catch up of 2012!

We went to California for Thanksgiving...thank you air miles! We took Lucas to SF for the first time...

We had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner with Grams and Papa! And then in true Grams style everyone came over for pie!

At one point all the kids disappeared, I found a sea of cousins and second cousins playing in the play room. I asked the older two if they fit in more up here than downstairs with the adults, they said "YES!"

There was fun at the park and we went on a Christmas Train Ride.

Lucas wasn't too sure what to think of Santa!

Then it was off to England for Christmas...

There was lots of cousin love and playing...

And lots of beating up on the youngest sibling...this was after we pounded him with hundreds of balls!

We went to London with some amazing and life long friends...our boys are so cute together! I'm sad they won't grow up around each other.

We went to M&M world...the flags are made of M&Ms!

We discovered that Harrods is in NO way baby friendly, we didn't last long there and moved on to Hamleys!

The 3 of them would wait for Grand to say "1, 2, 3 JUMP!" and they would all jump! So cute! They chased each other around but all the pictures were blurry because they were moving so fast!

Lucas was spoiled Christmas day, especially being the only child in the house. My cousin, his wife, his parents and my grandparents came over for Christmas day...those pictures were taken on another camera and I'm not sure who has them! :(

The day after Christmas we went to Switzerland where Lucas met his cousins and Uncle Jason for the first time! Lucas and Josie had a love had relationship, they played great, but fight over things haha it was so cute!

Josie loved to call Lucas "the baby"...adorable!

Julie and I had some girl time in Zurich where we ate and drank ridiculously priced pastries and hot chocolate but they were SO worth it! The cafe was SUPER fancy!

We had a great end to our year and are so blessed to have so much family who took us in and let us stay and spend time with them for the holidays.

There was many pictures missing from these trips such as our insanely awesome sledding trip and the silly pictures I took with my little brother on Christmas day and sent to our other brother's lady friend when he was in the shower! There are too many to count, but so many great memories made!!

Here's to a just as crazy 2013...we have some big things coming up such as graduation, moving, vacations and more!!

  1. Ah, what an amazing couple of months you had. Loove the look of that hot chocolate, yummy! And Lucas's Christmas PJ's are adorable! Howard says he'll take us to see you, sooner rather than later I hope. Miss ya!
