Chubba Turns 18 Months

I can barely believe the Chubba is 18 months old. Time has flown, but at the same time I feel like we have had him forever. Here are some updates on our little toddler...

  • He weighs 27lbs
  • He loves to play with other kids
  • Loves to share food, hates to share toys
  • Always has some kind of war wound, bruises, cuts, scratches.
  • He loves to play with his Grams and Pops (Great-grandparents)
  • He says "Bub-Bye"and waves when you put your shoes or bag on
  • He gives kisses on Skype
  • He spins in circles
  • He shut his friend in his bedroom closet the other day...oh the fun begins
  • He loves to help/copy me when I'm doing my projects, he will pretend to paint and hammer
  • He can open all the doors in our apartment which makes for some random things appearing all over the place
  • He loves baseball caps, he likes to wear them or put them on other people
  • He has started to like cartoons
  • He loves to press the buttons in the elevator
  • He has a really good throwing arm...its kind of amazing
  • He loves to giggle and will giggle back and forth with his little friend
  • Bounces up and down and says "uh uh uh" for "1, 2, 3"
  • His cousins taught him to jump off of things, so he is constantly flying into our arms
  • He says "dow" for "down" and "ju" for "juice"
  • He likes to sit on his toy box and watch the construction men working on our apartment complex
  •  He loves to be outside
  • Getting him to sit still in church is a nightmare and he hates going to nursery...he is hitting the stranger danger stage
  • He loves to sing
  • He slides down our stairs on his bum and says "weeee weeee!"...it is my most favorite thing ever!
  • He gives high fives and pounds it
  • We clap and say "yay" when he does something nice, like softly rub his friend's head rather than smacking them, so when he does something he knows is good he looks to us and claps
  • He loves homemade all fruit drinks
  • He has some toy story shoes that light up...they are his favorite
  • He tries to drink the bath water as it goes down the drain...gross I know, but kinda funny
  • He gives the best hugs and kisses and often makes a kissy face for us to kiss him
Our baby is no longer a baby...he is a full fledged toddler with so much personality and energy. He keeps us busy and always laughing. We love him so much and are so grateful he is ours!
