Graduation

A friend from my freshman year came down to Provo and took some darling pictures of us. We wanted to send a little graduation announcement out that included Lucas. I feel like he should get an honorary degree for surviving the first 2 years of his life as a college baby. We were so blessed with his easy temperament, yes he has a lot of energy but he has always been a good sleeper and fine with babysitters so balancing school and work and a baby was never really too tough for us.

So 7 years, 2 missions, 1 wedding and 1.5 babies later we are finally graduating! It has been a long journey with a lot of time spent apart. A lot of our days consisted of Brett leaving early in the morning and going to school, coming home around 5pm and me going straight to work until 12am. It was hard but it worked and we survived. I am grateful for the sacrifices that Brett made for us to get to this point and how hard he worked to get good grades.

We thought the time would never come, but we are leaving Utah and heading to Arizona. Brett will be working as an Electrical Engineer for Raytheon in Tucson and we will be living in Corona De Tucson, about 30 minutes south east of downtown Tucson. We have been given a lot of guidance from a family who lives out in Corona also, she was roommates with Brett's cousin and has been a life saver, answering my endless questions.

Now we are so close to leaving Utah I am realizing how much I love having family, adopted family and amazing friends so close. It will be hard to leave the security of those people and those beautiful mountains, but we are excited for our new adventure!

In other news as a graduation present to ourselves we are heading to Maui next month! Can't wait!!!
