I've Got High Apple Pie In The Sky Hopes

For a while now I have had the domestic urge to learn how to make an apple pie so in preparation for Thanksgiving I did a trial run.

I found a recipe, gathered some Granny Smith apples and my matching bowl and set to work. It was a fairly simple recipe and I even made the pastry from scratch!

I was worried first of all that it would look awful, but secondly and even more so that it would taste awful, but neither were the case!

Brett, Heather, Gavin, Ashley and Cameron were my guinea pigs and I got thumbs up all around! Even I was impressed and I never congratulate myself on my cooking!! So now I am onto more pies, Chicken Pot Pie, Berry Pie, and maybe I'll try some Peach Pie who knows, but my new love is making pies!!

Please don't judge my ever growing chubbier face! Pregnancy is not being kind to me!!
