Get Well Soon Papa!

Papa has had bad knees for a long time now. Today he went in for surgery to have a knee replacement. Lucas is excited because this means Papa can run and play with him without being in pain now!

We did finger painting for the first time today and made Papa a "Get Well Soon" card. Lucas loved finger painting and the card turned out super cute!! We (and by we, I mean I) spelled out Papa in painters tape and then Lucas painted over it. When it was dry I peeled off the tape and it was done! 

Tomorrow we will take a trip to the Post Office and Lucas will post his first letter!

We are hoping Papa has a speedy recovery!!
