Movie & Ice Cream

Being an international traveler before the age of 2 has led to Lucas learning to sit still for long periods of time. We kept him occupied on those 11 hour flights with Curious George and Toy story and he now has the attention span to sit through a whole movie. We were a little daring today and decided to take Lucas to the Dollar Theater this afternoon. We came to the conclusion that if he freaked out we would only lose $4 and it wouldn't be the end of the world. We took him to see "Wreck It Ralph" and at first we weren't too hopeful, he wasn't a fan of the booster seat and he didn't want to sit still for the trailers.
We decided to hold out for the movie though, and with a comfy spot on Daddy's knee, some juice and popcorn Lucas started to focus on the movie. About half way through he climbed onto my lap where he stayed for the remainder of the movie. He loved the cars and racing and funny Ralph, he clapped and giggled at all the right places.
It was so cute to see him doing such a big boy activity, especially because he has so much energy all the time. Afterward we went across the street and got Coldstone, he didn't sit still for very long whilst there, in fact he went around talking to people, all I could hear him say was "Mummy" to them.

We had a fun family day taking on new adventures!
